03Choosing between options

Choosing between holiday lighting options

Match the display to your home, your budget, and how much holiday spirit you want to show.

OptionPick if…Why
Roofline OnlyYou want curb appeal without a big investmentClean, classic, and visible from the street — the most popular starting package.
Roofline + TreesYou want a fuller, glowing yardAdds depth and warmth by wrapping the trees and shrubs that frame your home.
Full-Property DisplayYou want the house everyone slows down forRoofline, trees, wreaths, garland, and accents — designed as one cohesive display.
Warm White vs. ColorYou can't decide on bulb colorWarm white is elegant and year-round friendly; color is playful and classic. We can demo both before install.

Pro tip

Use a timer and avoid overloading a single circuit

Holiday displays pull more power than people expect. We calculate load, use outdoor-rated timers, and split circuits when needed. A tripped breaker on Christmas Eve is avoidable — and so is the fire risk from cheap extension cords buried under mulch.

06Ask a pro

Real answers from our crew.

Holiday lighting questions we hear every season.

QWhen should I book installation?
September and October are ideal. We stay busy in November, and December is mostly repairs and last-minute jobs.
QDo I own the lights or rent them?
We offer both. Purchase plans mean you own the lights and store them. Lease plans include install, takedown, and storage — popular for busy families.
QWhat if a strand goes out?
Call us. We do service calls during the season to replace bulbs, fix timers, and repair wind damage.
QWill the clips damage my roof or gutters?
No. We use shingle tabs and gutter clips designed for temporary installation. No nails, no staples, no holes.
QHow much does holiday lighting cost?
It depends on linear footage, tree count, and bulb type. Most DFW homes fall between $800–$3,500 for install, service, and takedown.
QWhen do you take the lights down?
Typically January through early February, based on your preference and weather. We store them for lease customers.
