These terms of service govern your use of the Hire a Homie website and the home services we provide across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex.
Acceptance of terms
- By using our website, requesting an estimate, or booking a service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Services provided
- Hire a Homie provides home maintenance services in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, including pool cleaning, landscaping, window cleaning, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, handyman services, tree care, and Christmas light installation.
- Service availability may vary by location, season, and crew capacity.
Estimates and quotes
- Free estimates are provided based on the information you supply and, when needed, an on-site evaluation.
- Estimates are valid for the period stated in the quote. Final pricing may change if the scope of work changes.
- A written estimate does not guarantee availability until a visit is scheduled and confirmed.
Booking and cancellations
- Appointments are confirmed when you receive a booking confirmation with a date and arrival window.
- We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests.
- Repeated late cancellations may require a deposit for future bookings.
Payments
- Payment terms are shown on your invoice. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards unless otherwise noted.
- Financing may be available through third-party partners and is subject to their approval and terms.
- Past-due invoices may incur late fees as permitted by law.
Warranty and liability
- We stand behind our work. Service-specific warranty terms are described in your estimate or invoice.
- We carry general liability insurance for the protection of our customers and crew.
- We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, or failure to follow care instructions.
Property access and safety
- You are responsible for providing safe access to the work area, including unlocking gates and securing pets.
- We reserve the right to refuse or postpone work if conditions are unsafe.
Intellectual property
- All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Hire a Homie and may not be copied without permission.
Changes to terms
- We may update these terms at any time. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
Governing law
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts in Dallas or Tarrant County.
