Pool Cleaning

Crystal-clear pools, week after week

01Overview

What you can expect.

A pool should be ready when you are. We handle weekly cleaning, water chemistry, filter maintenance, and equipment checks so you spend less time troubleshooting and more time swimming. Our techs show up on the same day, every week, with a checklist — not a guess.

  • Weekly pool cleaning and skimming
  • Water chemistry testing and balancing
  • Filter cleaning and backwashing
  • Pump, skimmer and equipment inspections
  • Algae treatment and prevention
  • Seasonal opening and closing service

02Materials & options

Equipment and chemistry — matched to your pool

Every pool is different: plaster, pebble, vinyl, salt, chlorine. Here's how we tailor the approach so the water stays balanced and the equipment lasts.

  • 01
    Chlorine Pools

The classic sanitizer. We test and dose chlorine, pH, alkalinity and stabilizer weekly to keep water safe and clear.

    Best for
    Most residential pools in DFW
    Lifespan / range
    Weekly service
  • 02
    Saltwater Systems

Salt cells generate chlorine naturally. We inspect the cell, check salt levels, and balance the water without overworking the generator.

    Best for
    Homeowners who want softer water
    Lifespan / range
    Weekly or bi-weekly
  • 03
    Cartridge Filters

Low-maintenance and water-efficient. We pull and deep-clean cartridges when pressure rises, so flow stays strong.

    Best for
    Smaller pools and energy-conscious homes
    Lifespan / range
    Cleaned every 4–8 weeks
  • 04
    DE & Sand Filters

Heavy-duty filtration for larger pools and heavy debris. We backwash, recharge, and inspect grids or laterals as needed.

    Best for
    Large pools and leaf-heavy yards
    Lifespan / range
    Backwashed as needed
  • 05
    Variable-Speed Pumps

Run longer at lower RPMs for better circulation and lower power bills. We program schedules around your utility rates.

    Best for
Anyone paying high summer electric bills
    Lifespan / range
    Programmed per season

03Choosing between options

Choosing between pool service options

Not sure how much help your pool needs? Here's how to pick the right plan.

OptionPick if…Why
Weekly Full ServiceYou want the pool always readyCleaning, chemistry, and equipment check in one visit — the easiest way to protect your investment.
Bi-Weekly ServiceYour pool gets light use and has a coverCosts less, but only works for low-debris, low-traffic pools that don't drift out of balance fast.
Chemical-Only PlanYou handle skimming and brushing yourselfWe keep the water balanced and treat algae before it starts — you do the physical cleaning.
One-Time Green-to-CleanThe pool is already algae-filled or cloudyHeavy shock, brushing, and filtration until the water is clear again, then we hand it back or switch to weekly.

Pro tip

Brush the walls, even when the water looks clear

Algae doesn't start in the middle of the pool — it starts on the walls and floor. A quick weekly brush breaks up the biofilm before it turns green, which means less shock, fewer chemicals, and a longer plaster life. It's the five-minute habit that saves hundreds in treatments.

06Ask a pro

Real answers from our crew.

Common pool questions from DFW homeowners — answered without the upsell.

QWhy does my pool keep turning green?
Usually it's a chlorine gap, poor circulation, or a dirty filter. We test the water, inspect the pump run time, and check for dead zones where algae can take hold. Most green pools clear in 3–5 days with the right treatment.
QHow often should the filter be cleaned?
Cartridge filters need cleaning every 4–8 weeks depending on debris load. Sand and DE filters are backwashed when pressure rises 8–10 PSI above clean baseline. We track this for you.
QIs saltwater really lower maintenance?
It reduces manual chlorine handling, but the cell still needs inspection and the water still needs balancing. Many owners find it gentler on skin and swimsuits, but it's not zero-maintenance.
QDo I need to drain my pool every year?
Not usually. In DFW, calcium and stabilizer can build up over years. We monitor total dissolved solids and drain/refill only when chemistry can no longer be balanced — typically every 3–5 years.
QWhat happens during opening and closing?
Opening: remove cover, reconnect equipment, start circulation, balance water, and shock. Closing: balance water, shock, drain lines and equipment, add antifreeze where needed, and secure the cover.
QCan you fix my pump or heater?
Yes. We diagnose pumps, heaters, salt cells, and automation systems. If it makes sense to repair, we repair. If replacement is the smarter long-term fix, we'll explain why.
